Help! I'm having problems accessing library databases from off-campus!

Answer

The electronic resources at the library are for use by Casper College students and employees. When you access the electronic resources on the Casper College campus, the databases are set up to recognize the IP addresses as Casper College and being used by students/employees. These resources are also available at times the library is not open and anywhere there is an Internet connection.

To follow licensing restrictions by ensuring that the users are part of the Casper College community, these databases are password protected. All you need is your CC Classlink username (firstname.lastname) and password at the Remote Database Login page that looks like this:

If you need help with your username and password, please contact the Help Desk at 307.268.3648.

If you successfully login with your CC username and the database is still asking you for a email address/password login, this is an indication that the database is not working. Please call the library at 307.268.2269 or email library@caspercollege.edu with the name of the database so that a librarian can fix this problem. In the meantime, you may be able to find a similar database in our  the subject drop-down menu on our database A-Z listing.
