First of all, ask your instructor which citation style he/she prefers and how many sources are required. This makes a difference in the format!

The library has access to two ebooks that can help you with the format and required elements:

Woods, P. (1999). Successful Writing for Qualitative Researchers. London: Routledge.

Murray, R., & Moore, S. (2006). The Handbook of Academic Writing : A Fresh Approach. Maidenhead, England: Open University Press.

In addition, the Purdue Owl has a brief description of the required elements in an APA literature review as well as a sample paper so you can visually see what a lit review should look like.
